Vic: Be aware of bogus bushfire fundraisers, says Robinson

People are being warned to watch out for phoney fundraisers trying to cash in on Victoria's
devastating bushfires.

The state's Consumer Affairs Minister TONY ROBINSON says the Victorian Bushfire Appeal
Fund is the main fund for the disaster.

And Queensland police said earlier this week .. bogus collectors on the Gold Coast
and Sunshine Coast were impersonating representatives of charity organisations .. selling
raffle tickets and asking for donations.
