NSW: Committal hearing for former MP continues
A suppression order's been continued on evidence given at the committal hearing intoalleged sex offences by former New South Wales MP PETER BLACKMORE.
The 58-year-old Mayor of Maitland is facing 11 charges at a hearing in Newcastle LocalCourt, which began yesterday.
The charges include one count of having raped a girl, one of committing an act of indecencywith a girl under the age of 16, and one of carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of10.
